What is an Umbrella Policy?

In short, an umbrella policy is an excess liability policy that builds upon the existing liability from your auto insurance, home insurance, motorcycle insurance, business insurance, etc.

In most cases, this policy is available in $1 million increments

and is VERY inexpensive ($1/day).

Do I need an Umbrella Policy?

You have a lot to lose!

Lawsuits for injury or damage caused by car accidents, pets, children, boats, sports, social media activity, etc can result in damages (injuries, property damage, slander, wrongful death, legal expenses) that can take your home, retirement fund, investments, and even future earnings!

How do I get an Umbrella Policy?

An Umbrella Policy requires minimum liability coverages on your other policies. Here are the most common ones:

Home: Liability $300,000

Auto: Bodily Injury & Property Damage 250/500/100

Even if your policies do not meet these limits, you can get a quote.
